01 In-person classes, Sollentuna campus

In-person classes at the Sollentuna campus begin on 15 August 2026. Lessons run every Saturday at 9:30–11:30, 12:30–14:30 and 15:00–17:00, with several Chinese classes for different year groups and levels in each time slot. Students of Chinese heritage aged 4 to 18 are welcome to enrol.

Location: Lindvägen 16, Dibber International School Sollentuna.

For the new term we plan to open a new beginners' Chinese class on Saturdays, provisionally 12:30–14:30, for children of Chinese heritage who have turned 4. We use the school's own textbook series Xingzhi Chinese as the main material, taught with the proven "Xingzhi method" developed by the school itself.

In-person classes comprise 15 lessons per term, and the fee is 2,300 SEK per student per term. Each class has around 15 students.

We assess the student's level of Chinese and place them in a class after a trial lesson. The first trial lesson is free; the fee is paid only once the place is confirmed.

02 Online Chinese classes — "Xingzhi Online Classroom"

The "Xingzhi Online Classroom" was founded in 2020, growing out of the extraordinary period that then affected the whole world. In just over six years, students in the online classroom have grown to two thirds of the school's total enrolment, coming from more than 30 towns and areas across Sweden, making it the largest local online Chinese-teaching platform in the Nordic region.

Online classes are open to all parts of Sweden. Priority goes to children of Chinese heritage who live further away and have no Chinese school or mother-tongue teaching available locally.

The teaching materials and requirements are the same as for in-person classes. Lessons are held over the Zoom video conferencing platform, combined with the school's own digital lesson materials.

Larger Chinese classes at various levels run every Saturday and Sunday, 15 lessons per term, around 15 students per class, at a fee of 2,100 SEK per student per term.

For students whose Chinese is weaker, who progress more slowly, or who have particular needs, there are "mini" online courses as 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3. Times are agreed between teacher and family, and these courses can start at any point.

We assess the level of Chinese before placing a student in a class. The first trial lesson is free; the fee is paid only once the place is confirmed.
