Parent representative from our school wins award in poetry recitation competition

Recently, Ma Ang, representing our school, competed in the adult category of the final of the 2026 "Love at Jinshui Bridge" Chinese poetry recitation competition, organised by the Beijing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese — and took the silver award!

"Love at Jinshui Bridge" is one of the Beijing Federation's flagship events for Chinese people and those of Chinese heritage living abroad. This year 661 contestants from 28 countries and regions reached the final. After strong competition, 3 gold, 13 silver and 23 bronze awards were made.

On 17 July, Ma Ang joined the other award winners at a large showcase performance beside Yanqi Lake in Beijing. Beijing municipal officials and many well-known figures from the arts attended.
