"Like rain that quietly waters everything"

I come from Kunming in Yunnan and have lived in Sweden for over ten years. Studying across China, the United Kingdom and Sweden has given me an unusual combination of communication, fashion and education — and with it the ability to draw together resources and teach inventively across very different contexts.

Cross-cultural education and sharing Chinese culture have always been close to my heart. Over the years I have taught close to a thousand students abroad, spread around the world. Alongside that I have worked actively on Chinese cultural education and China–Europe business exchange, and led the reporting for a number of cultural exchange events in China, the UK and Sweden.

As the mother of two children of two cultures, and as a teacher of Chinese for the youngest learners, I like to work from several perspectives at once, guiding children with care and patience towards the beauty of the language.

In my teaching I believe in working quietly but steadily. I shape each lesson with attention and build an easy atmosphere through sincerity, so that day by day students come to feel the rhythm of Chinese and the depth of Chinese culture quite naturally.
